Each year we make a trip to Forest Beach so B can pick a new charm for her beloved charm-bracelet. And if I was really being honest we make more than one trip. First we go just to take it all in and try to narrow down her choices. Then we go back for a second time to make the final decision.
This year B decided to get a kayak charm since that is one of her favorite things to do at the Cape. She also got a field hockey stick and ball charm as an early birthday present (her love of field hockey has been well documented on this blog). B was so cute when they put her bracelet on her wrist this trip. She had a huge smile when she twisted her wrist. Turns out she enjoys "bracelet music" as much as her mother does!
So sweet! She willl cherish her bracelet forever...I started them for my girls when they were little and I still have mine, which I started in high school.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet tradition. I love mine!!
ReplyDeleteLove charm bracelets. Tried to start one for my girls but of course, they have no idea where they are. I have a beautiful one that I inherited from my mother which I cherish. When I was small we used to go to Chatham Bars for a couple of weeks during the summer.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the bracelet!!!! SO pretty! I would love to go there!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with your bracelet.

ReplyDeleteOh, how I love charm bracelets! I love your reporting from the Cape. My husband and I spent our honeymoon on Martha's Vineyard, so it all looks and sounds very familiar and lovely. Have a great time!
