Happenings {Part 1}

As a family we have been super busy during my blogging vacation so please bear with me as I get you caught up to date!

During the last weeks of May, we watched L proudly graduate from preschool. He was so very excited for his big night. I mean who would not be happy to wear a colorful tassel and mortar board, right!?!

L and his classmates treated us to songs that they had been working on for months. And I do mean months! (Having been on a preschool school board I can honestly say that preschool teachers are saints.) It was so sweet to hear all of them signing and I really enjoyed that the children also singed some of their songs.

L walked up proudly and received his memory book from his teacher. Mrs A has known L since he was six months old so it was a little bittersweet for us that night. It has been such a blessing to have a good friend as L's teacher. With all of his "issues" I have been so grateful that L's preschool is filled with a staff that takes allergies seriously. When you send you children off to school peace of mind is priceless!

The whole school celebrated their big night with a "make your own sundae" party. Perfect ending to a wonderful school year. But L was so over me taking his pic by that point. I mean really  - what kid can't smile next to their ice cream sundae!?!

  2. He's adorable! What sweet pictures! I was crying like a baby at our preschool graduation this spring and it wasn't even my kids graduating (they were just singing in the service)! I'm going to be a total mess when it is them!
